We are a 4 star, 58 room seasonal hotel servicing Muskoka, Ontario. Our clientelle are mainly from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the majority of which enjoy the finer things life has to offer.
Your Challenge
What issues were you looking to address?
Our organization did not previously offer a specialty coffee until we purchased the Nespresso Aguila 220. We were looking for a machine that was user friendly, low maintenance and offered a consistent, superior quality product.
We equally found the full line of in-room offerings advantageous in positioning us to make the transition to Nespresso for our entire establishment as the current offering is antiquated, indistinct, and impacts our environment negatively.
Why did you decide to choose Nespresso & nunshen as a solution?
Our business was introduced to Nespresso/EVS via a sales representative. She was able to educate us on the superior quality of Nespresso and walked us through a full range of solutions that would aid in improving our guest offerings both in our dining outlets and in-room options.
She also gave us insight into the tea brand EVS carries called nunshen. We were extremely impressed by the complimentary tea tasting we did. We love the fact that we are using 100% biodegradable cotton tea bags for our customers.
Results
How did our coffee & tea solution meet your needs?The addition of the specialty beverage (cappuccino, latte) offering was a key component our business was missing in terms of the food and beverage offering. We have noted an increase in sales and guest satisfaction.
The recycling aspect is important to us and is a point of discussion our servers use when conversing with our guests (where and when appropriate).
Paired with a premium coffee solution we wanted a premium tea line to go with our products and we were so happy EVS was able to offer us both of these options. Since sustainability is extremely important to us it is so nice to find a tea solution that values the same aspect as we do.
Would you recommend working with EVS to a friend or family member?
We would absolutely recommend working with EVS and have spoken with many friends and colleagues about EVS & Nespresso for the reasons outlined above.
